House Democrats have introduced legislation to hold corporations accountable when they engage in wrongdoing and endanger workers' pensions. Our residents work for decades, expecting that their pensions and retirement plans will be secure. We cannot allow corporations to hurt our workers by destroying their retirement and then turn around and give CEOs exorbitant compensation packages. This package will hold corporations accountable for their actions and protect our working families. As part of this package, I have authored a bill to protect corporate whistleblowers--the brave men and women who expose corporate wrongdoing. We must protect them from retaliation and encourage others to step forward.
